My name is Jordan and I'm a junior at UMass Amherst in The Isenberg School of Management studying Management and Pre-Med. These may seem like two completely different areas of study, and they are.. but I’ve found that I really enjoy them both! Science is a subject where there is always more to learn and I find that fascinating.
Aside from school I love to be active! I come from a family of athletes and being the first child, my parents signed me up for everything possible. I stuck with ice hockey and softball and played them up until college. I found I always loved playing sports because I enjoy being part of a team as well as the individual aspects of being a great player!
I love to ski and just recently learned to snowboard! I love to be outdoors regardless of the weather. Whether I'm tanning in the summer or hiking in the fall, I'm always content.
I pride myself on being a friendly person and I'm very easy to get along with. I love to talk and would definitely consider myself a people person. I'm incredibly strong willed and will never give up on someone. I absolutely have my parents to thank for the way I was raised. Both my mother and father are my role models and have showed my brother and I what it is to work hard, be successful, and most importantly, to be happy. I strive to do my best every day, even through tough circumstances.
My real passion is helping people. I take pride in where I am from and who I am, and strive to be as great as the people of this city. But to also give back. I hope to bridge my two passions of helping people and science by pursuing a career as a Physician's Assistant where I can not only practice medicine, but also make a difference in people’s lives. I hope to attend PA school following my graduation from UMass and hope to eventually work as a PA in one of the many great Boston hospitals. I'm grateful for all that I have, blessed for where I'm from, and beyond excited for my future!
