Bernée E. Long is a Gallup-certified strengths-based talent development and life coach specializing in guiding youth ages 10-24 through the discovery and maximum utilization of their innate talents. Her approach blends scientific research with practical life skills towards the goal of a socially, professionally, and financially confident young adult.

Believing that everyone is uniquely called to fulfill a purpose in life, Bernée seeks to inspire young people to pursue their passions and design a life that fulfills their purpose. One of her favorite quotes is, "We each have a calling that if left unanswered will become a challenge unmet, a problem unsolved, an opportunity missed, a dream and a legacy unfulfilled, a link missing in the chain of events that were meant to form the history of the world." ----Henry Ford

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Bernée currently serves as the Director of Distinguished Scholars Programs at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (Washington, DC) where she formerly served as the Internship Manager. Prior positions include: Assistant Dean of Student Services at Cumberland School of Law (Birmingham, AL); Program Manager, Minority Health and Health Disparities Project, The University of Alabama at Birmingham (AL); Director of Admissions at Drake University Law School (Des Moines, IA); Director of Admissions at Talladega College (Talladega, AL); Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Albany State University (Albany, GA); and as an Administrative Law Judge with the Iowa Public Employee Relations Board (Des Moines, IA).

Bernée’s life goal is to die empty having shared all that she has learned with the next generation while leaving a legacy of having transformed the lives of future generations. Her motto is "BE all that God created you to BE; BE passionate about BEing You; and BE You! Everyone else is already taken!"
