Josselyn Berry

Journalist studying print and digital media at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I'm also a student at Barrett, The Honors College working on my thesis about women and business in downtown Phoenix.

But you can also call me a bird enthusiast with a real feminist bent.

Living and writing in downtown Phoenix, I'm interested in the crux of politics and women's issues. Over the summer I worked at Arizona Capitol Times writing breaking news and feature stories.

I've been studying journalism for the last five years and have a certificate in journalism from Paradise Valley Community College. There I was reporter and editor-in-chief for the monthly newspaper. I'm currently an assistant news editor for Downtown Devil, an independent online publication focused on downtown Phoenix.

Downtown Phoenix is my home base. I'm an avid lover of the arts and culture of this desert city and I'm intrigued by how the city can become a thriving metropolis.
