Berta De la Rosa

Hi, I am Berta and I’m fifteen years old and I am an only child. My mother’s name is Carmen and my father’s name is Manuel. Both of them are also only child, which means that I do not have cousins, aunts and uncles. But I do have a second cousin that is like a sister to me. I’ve both grandparents from mother and my grandmother from father.

I go to a private-state financed school called Virolai Schoolthat is located in the top a mountain and next to Park Güell, a very famous park that was built by a famous architect, Antoni Gaudi. I am doing 4 of ESO and this year is the year where I have to decide what I want to do in the future.

Then, I do not have much hobbies but I do enjoy doing many things. First of all, my favourite hobby is going shopping. I totally love shopping. In addition, one of the things I like the most is to meet my friends and hang out with them or go to parties or have dinner. Another is doing adventure activities such as canoeing, etc. which I am not able to do it much. The last one is taking pictures of sunsets. To end, I extremely love doing artistic roller skating, it is my sport, the one that makes me feel free and the person who I really am. Also, I love skiing but I am just able to do it one week a year.

Last year, I achieved the three goals I had marked for last year. Firstly, I got the First Certificate level. Secondly, I passed of level in figure skating and finally, I got good marks at the end of the year. So, after I hard year of effort but with good rewards holidays started.

This year I have to admit that I travelled a lot. First, I went for a month to Toronto, Canada to improve and study English. I was in host family while I was receiving classes in the university of the town where I stayed, Guelph. Then, when I got home after a month I went for a week to the house my grandparents have in the beach. After that, I went to Santander for a week to the house of a friend I met in Canada, she invited me. Next, I went to Washington and New York for ten days with my family and my best friend’s family her, Sandra. It’s been the best summer of my life.

Finally, for this year I have some goals I would like to achieve by the end of school year. The firs one is to pass last level of figure skating which that if do it I will be able to do championships all over Europe. Then, I would like to improve in Biology and Physics and to all my best in the research project. To sum up, I would like to prepare myself to do Advanced level in 1 of Batx
