Robby Berthume is an advertising and technology maven, mentor, motivator and matchmaker. He is the co-founder and CEO of Bull & Beard. A veteran entrepreneur and strategist, Robby’s background is rooted in both marketing and technology, from branding and new business to digital marketing and app development. He is also the co-founder of Skippaz and the author of the upcoming book, The Millennial Entrepreneur.
Robby grew up quickly, starting his first digital agency at 14, graduating high school at 16 and leaving home for college while running his agency a few months after turning 17. He earned a degree in Marketing from Liberty University while running his first company. In 2009, he was named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Twenty in Their Twenties” and was featured on Mixergy.com as a leading entrepreneurial voice, all by the age of 23. Recently, he’s kept busy judging award competitions and writing/speaking on entrepreneurship, advertising, technology and the millennial generation for outlets including Forbes, Fortune, Inc. Magazine, Mashable, Mixergy (x2), Slow Hustle, Los Angeles Business Journal, Business Collective, AllBusiness, Switch & Shift, Recruiter.com, SellPersonal, Monster.com, etc.
Robby was the founder and CEO of Eclyptix (formerly Epsilon Concepts) in 2000 and co-founded Skippaz, a Belgrade, Serbia-based digital agency in 2007. After leading Eclyptix for ten years, Robby moved back to the East Coast where he worked in a leadership capacity at Spark in Tampa, FL (Interactive Director), RepEquity in Washington, DC (Account Director) and Woodbine in Winston-Salem, NC (Director, Digital Strategy & Development). Together with Jason Drass, he incorporated Bull & Beard in early 2013 and opened the doors In June. They opened their current office in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina in late 2013.
Robby is a connected influencer with over fifteen years of experience. He’s been at the helm of countless digital strategies, website builds and marketing campaigns with start-ups, companies and causes, from non-profits all the way to Fortune 500s.
Robby is a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), Forbes Agency Council, Interactive Media Council, the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts and DWSP.
