Bert loves building software.

A long time ago Bert studied computer science at TU in Munich and he’s been living and working there ever since.

Along a meandering path, he’s worked on a range of diverse projects from serious enterprise systems to cutting-edge innovation projects. And everything in-between, including his own apps and a startup or two.

Bert knows as much about product design as he does about the code. He loves contributing to the why question as much the how.

A few years ago Bert created, marketed and eventually sold a web-based game to EA and moved to San Francisco where he discovered he liked the ocean as much as the mountains.

When he’s not deep into a UX proposal or node you’ll find him in the alps, wearing skis in the winter and hiking boots for the rest of the year.
