Bespoke Cue

Designer, Architect, and Project Manager in Hanoi,Vietnam

Hello everyone, I’m Bespoke. I’m a billiard cue designer and maker based in Hanoi, Vietnam. I have a strong passion for technology, design, craftsmanship, and art, and I enjoy bringing these interests together through the process of creating custom billiard cues. For me, cue making is not simply about producing a piece of equipment; it is a creative journey where engineering, aesthetics, and personal expression come together.

Passion for Technology, Design, and DIY

I have always been interested in how things are designed, built, and improved. Technology and mechanical engineering give me the opportunity to understand the structure and function behind a billiard cue, while design and art allow me to explore its visual character. I also enjoy DIY projects because they encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. Working with different ideas and materials allows me to continuously discover new approaches to cue design and craftsmanship.

Creating Cues With a Personal Touch

Every player has a different way of playing, and I believe a personal cue should reflect that individuality. When creating a custom cue, I pay attention to details such as proportions, balance, construction, appearance, and overall feel. Rather than simply following existing designs, I enjoy developing ideas that make each cue feel distinctive and personal. My goal is to create something that not only looks beautiful but also feels natural and comfortable in the hands of its owner.

Where Engineering Meets Art

One of the most enjoyable parts of making billiard cues is finding the balance between technical precision and artistic creativity. Engineering helps me focus on accuracy, consistency, structure, and performance, while art gives me the freedom to explore shapes, finishes, patterns, and unique visual details. Combining these two sides allows me to approach every project as both a technical challenge and a creative work.

Learning, Experimenting, and Improving

I see every cue as an opportunity to learn something new. Whether I am experimenting with a new design concept, refining a construction method, working on a small DIY project, or exploring different techniques, I enjoy the process of testing ideas and finding better solutions. Some projects may begin with a simple thought or sketch and gradually develop into something completely different through experimentation.

More Than Just a Billiard Cue

For me, a custom billiard cue represents the connection between its creator and its owner. It carries ideas, craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and personal character. That is why I enjoy creating cues one at a time, paying attention to the details that make each piece different. Through Bespoke, I hope to continue combining my love of billiards, technology, design, art, and DIY to create unique cues for players who appreciate something truly personal.
