Originally from Hobart, Tasmania, I moved to Melbourne in 2009 to undertake a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Melbourne. In 2012, I graduated with majors in Media and Communications and Politics and International Studies and am now doing my Masters of Journalism.
I've been lucky to see a decent portion of the big wide world in my life, and would consider traveling my main passion. I've just returned from a trip to India and Nepal, and I'm going to Japan in November, where I hope to work as a foreign correspondent.
I currently juggle my studies with running a small jewelery business and managing at a bar in the CBD. I'm also currently working on a travel blog, called Jetlag, which is about ethical travel options and I run a website called The Unfair Fax Machine, which is more news based.
To try and find balance in my hectic life I do yoga everyday and get out of the city as much as possible. I love snowboarding and am a keen bush walker. I'm vegetarian, love animals, and care a great deal about human rights and equal opportunity for all.
