Airsoft Player in New York
Hey there! My name is Ben and I'm the guy behind the Airsoft Gun Guy website. This page will just be a little bit about me, and a more personal look at the guy behind the site - so to speak.
I got my start in airsoft back in 2001, when I was a sophomore in high school. Back then, things were a little bit more simple in terms of laws and restrictions, so my friends and I had a lot of fun tearing it up in the hills behind our houses.
Thinking back on it, it's funny because my old gym teacher was actually the one who introduced me to it as an actual sport. I was friends with his son, and we were always stealing his dads high-end Tokyo Mauri MP5s. They were much better than our spring guns we had at the time, and were a lot of fun to play with.
When he caught us one day, instead of getting mad, he showed us how him and his friends actually went to airsoft tournaments and competed around California. I'd never seen anything like it and was hooked almost immediately.
From there, I kept playing airsoft off and on through college, but when I got out of school is when it really took off.
I started playing with college buddies and we began going to pretty big tournaments and getting heavily into gear and modding.
That's basically where I am today! I have a normal day job, but my true passion is reviewing and testing out airsoft guns, gear and modifications. I'll be posting a whole bunch of that stuff on the site, but wanted to create this page so you guys could get to know my background a little better.
I'll be updating this page soon with my profiles and all of that, but for now, you can check out the site below!
