Bestin Benny

Hello everyone, my name is Bestin Benny. I am a student at Deakin University studying Masters of Sports Management.

I am from India, I was born and brought up there. It’s been two years since I moved to Melbourne, Australia. I love both countries as it has taught me so much about my own identity, helped me develop new skills, and to make friends and connections.

I have a huge passion in sports especially cricket; I believe that sports make a positive impact in people’s life’s, directly or indirectly and helps to achieve an active lifestyle. I always wanted to a cricketer from my childhood days and was always motivated to play the game all day every day. However, a few injuries made my journey difficult, I had a long break from cricket and couldn’t ever get back to the game. After graduating from bachelor’s in commerce in 2018, I worked for a few months in a company in India, where I decided to do my master’s degree in Sports management which can keep me in touch with something related to the sports industry. Sports have always helped me through my tough times and helped me have an active lifestyle.

I would like to start my own business in the future, I am still in the process of figuring out what business I want to start. In the end I would like to always remember "Every new day is another chance to change your life."
