Beth Williams

Project Manager in Annandale, Virginia

I began my career in the banking and finance industry working my way from the management trainee of a local financial institution in Oregon to Branch Manager after only a few short years. After leaving Oregon I continued to work at a local bank in Kodiak, Alaska. After leaving Alaska, I spent a few years as a stay-at-home mother. Upon returning to work, I felt that it was time for a career change. I spent a year as the Executive Assistant at a non-profit in Sacramento, California. Here I learned that I had a real passion for non-profit work. I began working for United Way Worldwide in February 2015 as a Senior Associate for Talent Management. After only 7 months I was promoted to my most recent role as Manager of Leadership Development Programs. In this role I was responsible for the management and delivery of Talent Management's leadership and high-potential pipeline development programs including the United Way Fellowship Program, Advanced Leadership Program and the Executive Leadership Development Program.

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended San Francisco State University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

My husband, Liam, is a Master Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Together we have criss-crossed the country from Alaska to Georgia and from California to Virginia. We have 2 sons, Brayden and Connor. We enjoy baseball, biking, hiking, traveling and seeing all the DC sights.
