I am a nursing educator, researcher and author, passionate about learning, leading, innovating and collaborating. My goal is to ease the burden of aging and serious illness by building bridges and meeting needs. Patients and students are my greatest inspiration, and I learn from every one.

My family is my greatest source of strength. Tim, my husband of 21 years, is the best thing that ever happened to me. Our daughter Sarah is our greatest accomplishment.She is growing into an incredibly kind, interesting and unique young woman.
