Beth Still
Innovative Teaching and Learning Specialist in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Beth Still is an educator from western Nebraska. She taught social studies at the secondary level from 2003 to 20014. In 2008 she began designing and teaching virtual classes as well. In the fall of 2014 she assumed the role of K-12 Innovative Teaching and Learning Specialist for Gering Public Schools.
Beth has built a solid reputation in the field of educational technology. She has developed a large personal learning network and she's known for her willingness to help those who are new to networking and connecting online. She is an active member of ISTE, founder of the ISTE Newbie Project, and regular presenter at ISTE and NETA. She has also presented at Google Summits around the country.
Beth is one of approximately 600 Google Certified Innovators in the US and one of 1000 Google Education Trainers in the US. She is also one of just a handful of Hapara Certified Educators in the world.
She is passionate about empowering and inspiring both teachers and students. She strongly believes in the power of digital technology to reframe how we teach, learn, and demonstrate our learning.
