Bethan Walters is an actor and musician currently living in Swansea, United Kingdom and studying BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts in Gower College. Her interests range from singing to acting to reading. She is also interested in expanding her creativity through playing her ukulele and writing stories and songs. In the future, she hopes to inspire others to explore the pathof Performing Arts and discover what they enjoy about it.

When it comes to work, Bethan's always enthusiastic to learn and is committed to finishing projects and assignments. She excels at researching because of her B grade in GCSE English Language and her ability to find important facts and elaborate on them. She works well both independently and as part of a team, listening and responding to others' ideas. She also doesn't rely on luck to bring her what she wants in life. Creating new pieces that express her real life experiences visually to an audience with flair and imaginative ideas is her main interest in theatre. Another interest of hers is facing the challenge of adapting to different characters and studying their personality to learn how to portray them.

She has a large background in performing arts, such as 'Miss Lynch' in Grease and 'Mrs Sarti' in The Life of Galileo. Likewise, Bethan has had lots of training in devised projects. For example, she was in charge of rewriting lyrics for a piece of children's theatre. Her creativity allows new and exciting pieces to form from homophobia being like a circus to heroic pirates fighting an evil mermaid. In 2017, Bethan operated a boom microphone for a student short film called'Dismay', meaning she has little experience in technical theatre.

Besides acting experience, she has experience in part-time work. Her first job was as a volunteer in Wales Air Ambulance charity shop from 2014 to 2015, highlighting her customer service skills and independence. Her most recent job was in the summer of 2017 as an office assistant for Beor Wilson Lloyds Solicitors.

Bethan has extensive experience in music from her time in Sandfields Comprehensive School, highlighting her dedication. She participated in Samba, Steel Pans, GCSE Music's pop group, 'Harmonise', and a group inspired by the percussion group, 'STOMP', called 'STOMPIES'. In year ten, she competed in her school's Eisteddfod and came first place with her rendition of Lorde's 'Royals'.
