My name is Bethany Davis and I’m a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Computer Science with a minor in Consumer Psychology. I’m passionate about teaching computer science, learning for the sake of learning, and being a female engineer. In my free time, I also like to bake cupcakes.

I am actively engaged in many communities that promote the advancement of women in computer science, including WiCS, AWE, SWE and NCWIT. I also share my passion for computer programming through my work as a Teaching Assistant. I feel my best when I am encouraging and empowering others.

This summer, I worked as an intern on the Google Apps Script team at the New York office, building a Java backend service to display script execution data.
