Bethany Hurst

North Carolina

A little girl was born on November 27, 1991 at exactly 8:32am, which is precisely one minute after her twin sister was born. This little girl was me, Bethany. My twin and I were inseparable-- our lives filled with giggles, fantasy worlds, tears, fist fights, and more. Then we grew up and I went to a different college than my twin and things were, as you could imagine, uncomfortable. Not having my security blanket anymore, I had no idea who I truly was. Bible college brought me to a new level of intimacy with the Lord. He helped me to stop putting myself in a box and to let go of the land of comfortable in order to find who He created me to be. I still spend most of my days holding on to the ledge of the cliff, but every once in a while I find myself free falling into the arms of God, embracing the unknown and trusting in the beautiful story He has written for me. So here's to a story about this little girl and how she attempts to find beauty in all of life's moments.
