Bethany Cagnol has a BA from the University of Virginia, USA, and an MA in Teaching Second and Foreign Languages from the University of London Institute in Paris. She is Professor of English, Project Manager, and Facilitator for English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) at Télécom ParisTech. She also founded two companies in Paris, France, for language training, consultancy, project management and translations. She has managed the recruitment and content development of a team of 25 authors and editors around the world to produce e-learning iPad applications for eduPad.
She was the president of TESOL France, (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) for three years, and currently serves on the boards of IATEFL BESIG (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language Business English Special Interest Group), and the IATEFL Conference Committee.
She's written materials for Cambridge University Press, Pearson and Cornelsen and has spoken at several international conferences. Her interests include training adults and the professional development of teachers.
