I am Bethany Fuertes, a Music Technology student at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. I play guitar for BAND NI CAT for their live shows. I am also an Audio Producer for the UST Tiger Radio under the Tiger Media Network of the University of Santo Tomas Communications Bureau.

My music journey started when I first started learning the guitar which now led to producing, composing, and doing session work. Since high school, I have been accompanying singers, bands, and doxologies in school using the guitar. I began composing and producing music as I started senior high school in the Music, Arts and Design Track at the University of Santo Tomas.

I decided to continue my passion for music as I stepped into college and enrolled into the UST Conservatory of Music to receive formal music education. During this period, I joined the Liturgikon Vocal Ensemble for a year and a half to strengthen my voice and musicality. I had the opportunity to perform for the 34th Sampung Mga Daliri concert of the UST Conservatory of Music and other various concerts. I also work as an audio technician or sound engineer for the UST Tiger Radio during their live events.

One of my goals is to make music as something that people can rely on and feel all sorts of emotion. Similar to how film scorers such as John Williams and Hans Zimmer give more emotion and enhancement to the movies they compose for. Now, I have scored for a few capstone films from film students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

I want to inspire more people to turn to music for support, connection, and expression and further recognize its importance. I want to contribute and be a successful musician who makes an impact to the community and world around me.
