My enthusiasm for event planning can be traced back to participating in various types of events and my strong organization skills. I have benefited from experience in the process of planning and executing an event, from conception to completion, and from taking on several marketing initiatives for these events. In all aspects of my work, I am motivated and project-oriented, but also like to have fun and get creative whenever possible.
Due to my education, both with my degree in Visual Communication and my Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion Diploma, I have developed an in-depth understanding of consumer strategies, global markets, and branding. These programs have enhanced my problem-solving skills, as well as improved interpersonal and leadership skills.
Striving to always challenge myself in my extensive customer service and retail experience, I have had the opportunity to advance into supervisory and managerial positions. I am a natural leader with strong people skills who thrives in creative and diverse roles. I love supporting good causes, and enjoy the energy of event planning. In my downtime, I like to illustrate and spend time by the water.
