Bethel Clement

Project Manager, researcher, and Entrepereneur in Nigeria

Award-winning sustainable business leader, conservation biologist, and researcher making scientific and community impacts since 2017.

My work incorporates empowering others and improving the world through critical research, business, education, leadership, mentoring, and partnership.

CEO and Director of Bethel Shoes NG, I am also the co-founder of UpwardEco.

I am Project Officer for the youth skill-up program, and I manage Health Info Africa, manage communities, and monitor health needs data.

I have years of experience in business operations, management, and marketing. I have leveraged skills learned while volunteering as an undergraduate to foster partnerships, value chains, and sustainable enterprises in various industries such as circular economy, fintech, manufacturing, and the energy sector.

My ecological studies concentrate on avian species, which tell us realistic data about our world and environment. I usually conduct fieldwork, urban surveys, capacity building, and scientific writing.

These experiences have given me an edge to understand and present results about our world, how global change and climate affect biodiversity, and the need for effective conservation.

I have worked with diverse professionals, organizations, citizen scientists, and locals to design and innovate biodiversity conservation projects, sustainable resource management, and achieve less environmental degradation.

I am also a project manager for a sustainable entrepreneurship program for youths and women in vulnerable communities. I am looking for partners to upscale skills and build income systems for their communities.

I am carrying out community health assessments and working on implementing solutions needed for these community members in Nigeria.

Outside work, I am watching birds, hiking, traveling, creating new designs, or watching and making music or documentary movies.
