Light, it's shifting colors and shadow formation, is what I look for when defining the mood and composition of all I create. The primary subjects of my oil paintings are local landscapes and the human figure. The human body is the most beautiful design in nature and I strive to capture the subtle changes in color and light as it defines the form. My still life paintings take their inspiration from old masters, but with a modern flair.
