Beth Lockyer
Student, Photographer, and Actor in Guildford, United Kingdom
My name is Beth Lockyer and I am in my final year of my BA Theatre and Performance Studies course at the Guildford School of Acting.
Before coming to Guildford, I studied an intensive Level 3 Extended BTEC Acting Diploma at Arts Educational Schools London, receiving D*D*D* and firmly rooting my ambitions to become a professional actor.
Outside of acting, I am a very keen photographer, practising both film and digital photography, and have been commissioned to shoot promotional press release packages and live gig photography for musicians - (a link to my portfolio can be found above). I also pursue musical interests, and spend a lot of my free time songwriting and composing music.
I have experience working both in a professional film environment, and in the theatre. My film debut was in the independent British film 'Spike Island' directed by Mat Whitecross, receiving director's compliments for my onscreen performance on set. I was also lucky enough to partake in the New Wimbledon Studio Theatre's production of 'Time Of My Life' by Alan Ayckbourn playing the charismatic, eccentric female Maureen in their highly energetic, contemporary production.
