Hi, I am Bettara; I am an IT director who brings a wide perspective and strategic vision within the senior management team. Over the course of more than 15 years I have built and led successful engineering teams across Europe and Canada to deliver high quality projects in IT infrastructure, video games and digital marketing industries.

Beyond my IT expertise, I am fundamentally a people person and that comes through in how I manage teams, the board that I sit on, my community engagement as a youth soccer coach, and the initiatives I am currently building.

I truly believe that play is one of the best means of learning, as such I co-launched Awale Academy Montréal to engage youth (8+ years) and their parents in connecting to their African heritage through the math and strategy-based game of Awale.

Another initiative that I founded, 3 pirogues, aims to guide young professionals in how to unlock their time, skills and network in an increasingly fast paced and changing job market.

My engagement is centered on having a positive impact on people.
