Better 4 You Meals recently expanded its low-sodium and cholesterol-free offerings with the acquisition of Balance Foods, a leading manufacturer of chips and snacks that are compliant with National School Lunch Program (NSLP) nutritional guidelines. Balance Foods has also formulated snacks that are Kosher and gluten free.

B4YM stresses the value of food that is both nutritious and delicious. Following NSLP guidelines, it provides kids with a large variety of fruits and vegetables. The meals offered by the company are also quite popular among students. Within a week of contracting with the company, the Compton Unified School District’s Whaley Middle School saw a significant increase in student lunch purchases, serving 390 students one week and 460 students the next.
