Over the past years I have been pondering on ways of ensuring that the stories of the women who came before us are immortalized; that they are remembered for the energy and spirit they brought into our lives and the lives of others. These are the women we know as mother, mentor, grandmother, aunt, neighbor, friend and teacher.

As we are growing up and see them on a day-to-day basis we don't always see the positive impact they are having on us.

I have created this blog to allow their stories to be told by you, the reader, by your friends and by anyone who wants to contribute the incredible story of the woman or women that inspired and influenced them.

HERstory needs to live on. We cannot and should not let these marvelous women fade into obscurity. Every one of their stories has something important to say.

I would love to hear from you and about the wonderful woman that inspired you. www.inspiredbymymom.com
