Bevin Mahon

In 2001, Bevin Mahon joined the then Dental Tech team of just 4 people, a small family business that her parents had started. Having completed her degree in Social Science in UCD in 1999 and gained experience across many sectors both in Ireland and abroad. The goal in joining Dental Tech was clear to her; growth, job creation and sustainability of a family business.

Bevin has a vision: To change the lives of the aging population through Dental Tech’s dental and denture solutions so that people can eat, speak and socialise with dignity and confidence all across Ireland. Since then Bevin and her now team of 30+ people are changing how dental and denture services are delivered to an ageing population. What started out as a small dental laboratory and denture clinic has now grown to be the largest provider of Dental and Denture Services to Nursing Home Residents in Ireland with multiple private denture clinic locations around the country.

In 2016 Bevin was became an Ambassador for Going for Growth, supporting female entrepreneurs after being a member herself since 2013, she supports, inspires and mentors other female entrepreneurs. In 2017 Bevin qualified as an Engage and Grow employee engagement coach, mentoring and coaching her team to help build on the company vision and to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.

In 2018 Bevin was selected as one of just 11 female leaders from around the globe to participate in the Global Ambassadors Program, a partnership between Vital Voices and Bank Of America.

In both 2018 and 2019 Dental Tech won the All Ireland All Star Awards and Bevin was accredited as All Star Thought Leader in Community Health (Dental). Bevin has been nominated for the 2019 Women of the Year Awards and won the Health Pioneer award in the Graham Norton Gin Inspiring Women Awards 2019.

Bevin is focused on ensuring her team provide the best possible products and services but approaches this with a leadership style based on collaboration, trust,flexibility, openness to new ideas and humour. No matter how busy she is,she’ll always take time to support anyone who needs help.

Bevin has grown to become an excellent leader, highly respected by all her team and peers.

With a wealth of experience under her belt, Bevin continues to pave the way for how dentistry is delivered as well as offering her time as an executive coach to other business leaders and senior management around the world.
