My résumé may take more years to read than you are old. OK, perhaps that's a slight exaggeration. I can fall asleep while reciting my own history. If you stay alive long enough, that'll be true for you, too.

I'm a compulsive mentor, teacher and writer with a fixation on emerging technologies, especially in health and areas related to health. Most recently, I've had the privilege of advising the Universal Design Institute regarding social media. Before that, I co-founded The Walking Classroom Institute.

Previously, I managed the Office of Consumer Health Informatics at the National Cancer Institute and taught emerging technologies at Harvard's School of Public Health. I've authored and co-authored a few articles and textbooks, written and recorded a CD of short stories involving fountain pens, and I'm trying to pioneer what I believe to be either a new genre or a new medium--the animated graphic novel. You can see examples on YouTube at http://bit.ly/FollowMeS1 . (I used DrawSomething2 to do the animations.)
