Benjamin Granger

Greenville, SC

Born in Greenville, South Carolina and moved to Athens, Georgia when I was just under the age of one. Growing up in Athens I was engulfed in the wonderful college town atmosphere while also being a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. I played every sport my parents would allow me growing up and managed to be a 4-sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Golf) at Clarke Central High School.

In February of 2007 I decided to "take my talents" to Crab Cake Country (Maryland) when I signed to play football for the Naval Academy. I was sent to the one year Naval Academy Prep School in Newport, Rhode Island to gain an extra year of eligibility and also decide if the Naval Academy was ultimately the right fit for me.

In May of 2008 I graduated from Navy Prep and made the decision to transfer to Furman University (and return to my birthplace). Aside from playing football at Furman, I was involved with various groups and committees on campus, holding several leadership roles. I was also able to gain tremendous work experience in my summers, working at companies such as Hartness International and Reveille Productions as well as working multiple sports camps.

I am now honored to say that I am officially a Furman University alum. I graduated in December of 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I currently work at The Cargo Agency as a Client Engagement Specialist and I am currently enjoying being fully emersed in the world of marketing and advertising.
