Brittany Hanke

York County, Pennsylvania

Currently a student at Full Sail University, I am completing my Music Business Bachelor of Science degree. From a very young age listening to Classic Rock in the car with my father to being one of the managers for Superhero (a Christian Rock band based out of Scotland) in my early 20’s, music has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Prior to my work with Superhero, I started working for the Harford County Public Library at the age of 17. At the age of 19 I also began working for Summit Grove Christian Conference Center, managing their after school program, Camp Discover, and working as a counselor during the summers. My time at Summit Grove came to an end as I transitioned into a position at Curves as a trainer, working with women of all walks of life to reach their health goals. Eight years after I got my start at HCPL I have climbed the ladder, focusing my efforts on my schooling and job at the library, now on my way to being promoted to a librarian’s position. My position at the library has created many opportunities and has given me the experience I’ve needed to work with Superhero. Aside from my music passion, you can usually find me spending time outdoors with my Great Pyrenees, Samson. I also enjoy going to and teaching ballet classes and working on my 1965 Ford Mustang. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes with working with my hands or when I get to see my hard work pay off.
