Bhaskar is a professional with 14+ years of experience and diverse skill sets ranging from design thinking, systems dynamics, entrepreneurship and management. He has worked as Assistant Professor at IIT Gandhinagar, National Institute of Design (NID) as well as a visiting faculty at leading institutes in India. His career has spanned various roles in professional design practice, entrepreneurship, academics & research. Post a decade of successful design practice, Bhaskar has focused on applied research for the past few years. As a research affiliate with Johns Hopkins University Baltimore and JHPIEGO he has coordinated research projects on maternal & neonatal health. He has received research grants from United States & New Zealand and his research findings have been published in Austria, Norway, Singapore and India. He has delivered talks and presentations at several institutions across the world as international conferences and industry summits. His current work looks at climate change issues through anthropogenic material flows in closed systems. He is a nominated member - Steering Committee on Innovation, Goa Institute of Management and previously a board member of VentureStudio - an incubator supported by Stanford University. He serves on the advisory board of Xscire Technologies and 4DEA. His professional interests lie in the domains of circular economy and affordable health. Bhaskar balances his professional commitments as the Co-Founder of Waango, an innovative product-service-system offering geo-fencing driven communications & doctoral research at Lincoln University, New Zealand. He graduated with an engineering degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Bangalore University and a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the National Institute of Design, India.
