Bhavin Bhagat

My journey as an entrepreneur and investment banker has been driven by a deep commitment to empowering small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in India. I spent over 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, where I played a key role in business development and growth for companies across India and Europe.

With my wife Haripriay Bhagat, we co-founded IndiaBizForSale in 2013, driven by my exposure to the complexities of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for SMEs and the challenges they face in securing investments and navigating exits. This led us to build a confidential discovery platform that connects businesses looking to sell or raise funds with potential investors and buyers. Today, the platform has grown into a network of over 1,50,000 professionals, addressing a critical gap in the market.

In 2016, We co-founded IBGrid to further expand this vision. As Co-founder and CEO, I focus on providing a comprehensive investment banking solution tailored for Indian companies within a 120-day framework. IBGrid combines technology with human expertise to facilitate M&A transactions and fundraising efficiently, with the aim of completing deals within months.

I have also been actively involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving as President of TiE Ahmedabad and as an Executive Committee Member of the AIC-LMCP Foundation, reflecting my commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation within the community.
