My years of experience as a physio have taught me that there is nothing more important than listening to my patient’s story. What an honour it is to have the time and space to deeply listen and tune into the individual journey of each person I see.
Whether you present with a day old twisted ankle, or a ten year struggle with low back pain, for me, the art of physiotherapy is the ability to link your individual story to your pain, movement and your overall health.
I see patients of all ages and from all walks of life, some are driven to run ultra marathons, some are relearning how to bend or lift again when they never believed they could.
Since qualifying in 2007, and in the pursuit of clinical excellence, I have achieved post-graduate qualifications from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, under the tuition of world renowned Professor Peter O’Sullivan. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with an MSc in Neuromuscular Physiotherapy. I am a qualified Pilates instructor and I have years of clinical experience seeing patients whilst working alongside, and being mentored by, leading Physio’s in their field.
This experience, and gathering of tools, has taught me that there is no ‘one stop shop’, no recipe to suit all. What is required is an understanding of you, the patient, your hopes, and your goals. This individualised approach is where the therapeutic alliance is made and where change and recovery is possible.
