BHISHM Cube - Portable Emergency Medical Infrastructure / Mobile Hospital Unit

BHISHM (Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog Hita & Maitri) Cube is an emergency healthcare initiative led by the Government of India. It is meant for use during disasters and major emergencies. The initiative was announced in 2023. The goal was to improve how quickly medical help can reach people in crisis situations.

The BHISHM Cube is a portable, modular medical system. It was created to be used in places where hospitals are unavailable or unable to operate. It's intended for use during natural disasters and large-scale emergencies. The Bhishm Trauma Care Unit is to be deployed both in India and internationally.

The initiative has been developed by HLL Lifecare Limited, a Government of India enterprise. HLL Lifecare Limited has decades of experience in public health programs, healthcare products, and medical infrastructure. And they have played a key role in supporting this project.
