Bhupesh Mehta

Currently, the President of Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington and Director for JAINA (Federation of Jain Associations in North America), Bhupesh Mehta is an active leader in the community. He has served in the core Executive Committee of Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington for more than 5 years. He helped raise funds (1.3 million in 2011) for the community. He is also actively involved in the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington.

He was awarded Leadership award in 2010 from Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington for his excellent leadership and selfless dedication on serving the community.

He was a guest panelist speaker on the radio station WFMD AM930 for a five part of 30minute weekly 'Frederick Faith Debate' program.

He has been called as guest speaker to many schools, universities, organization and youth camps to speak about Jainism and Jain way of life. Invited Speaker at Seventh day Adventist churc, 61st Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and have lectured Local University Students.
