An attorney and advocate for disability rights, Bianca Catherine Knight has represented clients in a variety of settings. She has served as counsel in a number of employment discrimination cases and has advocated for clients in complaints to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), while also tracking the development of legislation and reaching out to lawmakers to discuss the impact of their decisions. Active in task forces at the community and state levels, Bianca Catherine Knight also has offered legal representation to professional disability advocates.

Ms. Knight comes to this work with a cum laude juris doctor from Belmont University College of Law. She attended law school with the support of merit-based aid as well as scholarships from American Council for the Blind, Middle Tennessee Council of the Blind, and the Council of Citizens with Low Vision International.

Bianca Catherine Knight enrolled in law school following a life-changing period in which an onset of Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) caused her to lose her vision at the age of 28. Having previously worked in communications and office administration, backed by a bachelor of science in broadcast communications, she shifted her focus to speaking out on behalf of the disabled community. She remains dedicated to this aim and now on the board of directors for the Council of Citizens with Low Vision International.
