Bianca I. Mena

My name is Bianca Ivette Mena. I am a 20 year old Latina from the south side of Chicago. I am majoring in Sociology and Criminology and minoring in Spanish and Social Justice & Civic Engagement at Dominican University.

I have a great passion for serving the community. I find great pleasure in writing creatively but also writing about my experiences. Writing, I have discovered, is a way to keep my story and imagination alive. Someday, I hope to write something that will catch a reader’s attention and hopefully change their lives.
