“Growing up, I believe that my Mom has been a great influence on why I love arts, music, and fashion. We played the piano and we used to play dress-up together. I eventually discovered my own style and built my own closet. But when I became a young adult, I became more environmentally conscious. I started to practice minimalism (This is challenging in Toronto, but hey I'm trying!). I learned to let go of some of the things that I no longer need or don't make me happy, so I now go by this quote: “Stay fashionable yet responsible.” In today’s consumerism and capitalism especially with fast fashion, sustainability is vital. With this new business venture, I feel less guilty when I go shopping because I can already sell some of my items that will not break the bank and will keep people in style and happy, at the same time, I would be influencing others to love and care for the earth that we live in.”
Bianca Rivera has finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the Philippines. She recently completed her Human Resource Management post-graduate certificate at Seneca College. Bianca brings eight years of solid HR experience to the table including events management experience. Over the years, she loves to write short articles and contributed to company newsletters and devotional books. She is also fond of doing social media content which is why she finally pursued Brand Management. Through this program, she was able to find new friends who turned into business partners who look at the same goal: going forward to a better future.
