Bibiana Huber holds the dual roles of CEO and creative director at B-Huber, a versatile design and architecture firm deeply committed to the principles of passion, simplicity, and the utilization of local materials. The firm is also dedicated to embracing holistic design philosophies.
Bibiana embarked on her creative journey by studying plastic arts in Florence, Italy, and later pursued a degree in Industrial Design at the Tecnologico de Monterrey (TEC) in Guadalajara. Her foray into architecture began at the age of 19 when she delved into independent contracting. A significant milestone in her early career was the design of a jewelry store in Guadalajara, where her talent and creativity shone.
At the age of 22, Bibiana undertook the design of Hotelito Desconocido, a luxurious hotel situated in the Costa Alegre region of Mexico. This opportunity arose after she triumphed in a head-to-head competition against other international architecture firms.
The year 2012 marked a turning point for Bibiana, as she received the Revelation Award at the CIDI Ibero-American Biennial, acknowledging her substantial contributions to the design realm. This prestigious award specifically recognized her work on three distinct hotels in Jalisco. Furthermore, she achieved the status of a finalist for the Adolf Horn Award, solidifying her position as a noteworthy figure in the field of design.
