Hey, I’m Omar. I’m a musician living in Sweden. I am a fan of music, entrepreneurship, and web development. I’m also interested in football and video games. Omar was born in Guernsey, the Scottish-Moroccan's parents moved to mainland England, where he discovered 'Old Skool' & underground dance music at the age of 10 years old. His early influences came from Aphex Twin, DJ Rush, Carl Cox, LTJ Bukem, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson. Also growing up he was exposed to the music of the '60s, '70s, '80s & '90s as his parents were keen music lovers.

All this combined and over time sprouted seeds at the tender age of 12 years old to learn how to DJ, to share his music collection, and passion for music with others.

After becoming addicted to the electronic music scene, and playing out at various underground parties, he began to explore how to produce music at 16 years old using FL Studio but now uses Ableton Live mainly.

He started by producing Drum & Bass, and branched into techno and even UK garage! After many years of learning and playing, he decided to form the label 66Khz Productions, based in the UK.

Initially, Omar wanted only to release his tracks but soon decided to release other artist's music, alongside his music after discovering some great talents. There are some genuinely unique sounds on most of his productions; he often combines different beats from different genres and organic sounds from real instruments and plugins.

If you have not heard his music, the main genres produced are House, Techno, Breaks and some alternative styles of electronica. He is also the other half of Miss ET an alternative electronica band from the UK.

Omar Bicane used to go by the artist name of DJ Ramo, but since he mainly produces & remixes these days he decided using 'DJ' in his name was no longer relevant.
