I am a Platinum writer/Vocal producer, CEO of two clothing lines currently living between West Hollywood, California and New Jersey.

Samuel Hoskins aka Big Cyph is a native of Atlantic City/Pleasantville, NJ who started out in the music business with aspirations of being a star as a artist and performer. In his teens he formed a singing quartet called 4-Play. They were discovered by DJ Red Alert and the late Funkenklein, who introduced them to Solid Productions, a production team based out of Copenhagen Denmark. 4-Play released a single which went gold called "You deserve the best" and that was the beginning to Cyph's career.

In the late 90's early 2000's Big Cyph would redirect his career into writing and vocal producing. He got his first gig with super producer Rodney Jerkins and his brother Freddie Jerkins of DarkChild Ent. With them he scored song placements with their artist and others like Rhona Bennet (DarkChild/Sony) female group So-Plush (DarChild/Sony) Sammie (BadBoy Ent) and gospel trio Trinity 357.

2001 Big Cyph teamed up with the Legendary Multi-Platinum producer Teddy Riley to write hits for artist Monifah "I Can Tell" remix and for the King of pop Michael Jackson a song called"Shout"which was a released overseas and went Platinum.

2008 Cyph took his talents to Hollywood, CA to work with a plethora of artist, entertainers and established producers like Babyface, Katt Williams, Karlie Red, Kristenia DeBarge and artist who were signed to Billionaire entrepreneur Michael Liberty.

2016 Cyph retired from the music industry. Cyph is quoted as saying "I have accomplished all that I was meant to accomplish, worked with the biggest and the best of them but the way the industry has changed and how people do business is unethical and it's not fun for me anymore."

Today Cyph's passion and focus is on branding his name and two of his clothing lines which are LUX and Lady Luxior, both are upscale/urban attire due to launch sometime early 2018.
