Bill Abbott

Houston, Texas

I enjoy helping people, many of our clients call us when they are at an all time low. We have the opportunity to help them recover.
In high school I played football while working part time. After high school Bill Abbott attended the University of Texas, was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and Phi Alpha Delta. After graduating I went to Texas Tech’s School of Law. I interned at the Lubbock District Attorney’s office, and graduated law school in 1998 and became licensed with the Texas State Bar.

In January of 1999, I joined the Ogletree Law Firm where I am now a Partner. The Ogletree Abbott Law Firm is one of the largest Workers’ Compensation law firms in the State of Texas and one of the leading national plaintiff trial law firms representing injured workers.

I Co-Authored and edited the “Jones Act – Maritime Law, For Injured Workers".

I am married and have two boys. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my amazing family and coaching my sons basketball and football teams.
