As an award winning freelance audio engineer, I have extensive experience in mixing, sound design, sound editing, mastering and restoration servicing the film, television, radio, advertising and record industries.
My post-production sound work includes projects for HBO, Saturday Night Live, ESPN, NBC Dateline, Starz, VH-1, Discovery, Showtime, CBS, Sundance Channel and ABC Family. I’ve provided sound design and mixing for the Emmy nominated “Phantom Shares” for Bloomberg Television as well as sound restoration of the classic Fellini film “La Dolce Vita,” for which I received a prestigious CEDAR Award. From promos to commercials, short and long format, documentary and narrative, I’ve worked in almost all formats of the broadcast television and film industries.
I’ve also mastered and/or restored over 300 CD’s for clients such as RCA Records, Telarc and BMG Classics, including the Grammy Award winning “Heifetz Collection” and the Grammy nominated “The Song Is You”.
Additionally I have composed music for a dozen films, six television shows and over a hundred promos, trailers and commercials.
I have written for the esteemed British publications “Sound On Sound” and “Resolution” and have lectured on sound at Montclair State University and Bloomfield College in NJ.
