I received my Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from NYU Polytechnic, and I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from the State University of Oswego. I have been the Senior Training Manager for National Oilwell Varco in Houston, Texas. Prior to this position, I was the Director of Global Training for NOV, before joining NOV, I owned and operated a consulting Services Company that specialized in Organizational Development and Training and dealt with developing indigenous work forces specifically in Western Africa. Further, I served in progressive positions with Sony (Material Research Corporation) and later to Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL), which bought MRC. During this time, I advanced from the Manager of Domestic Technical Training/Development, to the Senior Manager of International Training & Support, and finally to the Training Manager – Global Operations. During my time as a manager at all of these elite companies, I have had the privilege to work with some of the most bright, progressive scientists and researchers in the world. Specifically, in my capacity as Director of Global Training NOV, I am responsible for making sure that NOV continued to maintain its position as a company whose products are on the cutting edge of technological development. This includes identifying ways for the company to implement the latest technology in electrical, industrial and petroleum engineering. As the Director of Global Training at NOV, I managed and directed training programs for NOV employees on a diverse range of specialized areas of the technological equipment and services of the Company. I have developed and implemented innovative training methodologies including simulators and animation that incorporate the most up to date, leading-edge scientific and industrial development. In this capacity, I also serve as the liaison between NOV and community colleges and universities to develop educational and training programs for NOV employees. In addition to my work with NOV, I have served as Faculty at the University of Phoenix teaching various Business and Business Management courses. These courses include Management Theory, Practice and Application; Organization Behavior; and Corporate Culture and Organizational Climate. Additionally, I am on the Training and Automation committees for the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC); the Houston Community College Advisory Board for Chemical Engineering, Instrument
