The Do-It-Herself Bride was founded by Billie Lorraine Lafty in 2014 after a frustrating start to a close friend's wedding planning. On a very strict budget and extensive research Billie was able to help carefully plan and develop a list of reasonably priced vendors and even develop ways of getting her friend the dream wedding she always hoped for at a lower cost.
