Bill Schwyhart
Developer and Auto Dealership Owner in Bentonville, Arkansas
Though he may be best known locally for Pinnacle Hills, the large retail, entertainment, and healthcare development in Rogers, Arkansas, Bill Schwyhart has deep roots in the automotive industry. Mr. Schwyhart got his start pumping gas at his father's California gas station, and ultimately acquired thriving GM and Chrysler dealerships in Missouri and Arkansas.
The auto dealerships afforded Mr. Schwyhart the opportunity to purchase Pinnacle Point, a land development, which grew to the larger Pinnacle Hills development. This large-scale investment shaped the Rogers community and continues to influence the Northwest Arkansas area.
When he finds time away from his many business endeavors, Mr. Schwyhart lends his talents to a variety of charitable and community organizations. He served as president of the Rogers Rotary Club, chairman of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, vice-chairman of the Rogers-Lowell United Way. He was appointed by the Rogers Mayor to serve on the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority. During his 16 year tenure on the airport authority he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and Chairman of Development. He was appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee to serve on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
