I've been on my own since sixteen. My first jobs were as a disc jockey, musician in a strip club but I found my calling as a programmer on a Navy submarine. From there I became a consultant to Harvard's Aiken Computer Center and then at eighteen became a research staff member at MIT working on programming languages. I joined a minicomputer startup at twenty-four as their second programmer and acquired my intoxication with startups.
Over the years I've been fortunate to contribute to a number of areas with lasting impact on the computer and electronics industry. I'm tryihg to break new ground again with Elecyr Corporation. We're building electronics and software to enable 400 volt DC power distribution, a new standard for energy efficient data centers and tactical military microgrids.
I'm married with two grown children and my wife and I live with our dog, Laika vom hause Edelstein, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I enjoy great food and great wine bought at bargain prices. In my limited spare time I sail or hike the beautiful Maine coast.
