A 23-year veteran of the securities industry, Bill Takos joined Aegis Capital Corp as managing director and registered principal in 2017. Previously, he spent ten years as managing director and registered principal for National Securities Corp. Bill Takos is dually registered as an advisor in both the United States and Australia/New Zealand.

Bill Takos holds a bachelor of arts in architecture from the New York Institute of Technology. After graduating, he passed the General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7) and became licensed as a General Securities Principal (Series 24). Early in his career, he worked for Josephthal & Company, where he received an award as one of the firm’s top two percent of producing brokers and regularly participated in the firm’s Chairman's Counsel. He later established an independent branch of Concord Equity Group.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Bill Takos enjoys staying fit through daily mixed martial art classes. A member of the Sands Point Village Club, he is also an avid golfer.
