Gulfstream Aerospace company delivered 60-th G650 airplane, which "got" Jet Aviation Business Jets (registration number VP-CKB). New Business Jet will be used for private client and based in Hong Kong. Also in March 2014 year its airplanes of this type received Spanish business operator Gestair, ExecuJet, Japanese Corporation Rakuten Inc. and American holding Laurene Powell Jobs.
Thus, one year and three months since the beginning of deliveries of Gulfstream Aerospace has managed to convey to clients an impressive amount of business jet G650. For Jet Aviation holding is already the third flight. The first Board, received last year, is available for Charter and operated by Jet Aviation Office in Van Nuys, California. Also in Hong Kong for a private client based and operated another flagship (hull number VP-CZZ).
We remind that Gulfstream Aerospace for year 2013 put customers 144 equipped business jet that, at 35% more than in the year 2012. And although the manufacturer does not share the delivery report on types of aircraft (only on large and medium airplanes-121 and 23, respectively), it is known that during the past year were supplied with a total of 42 G650, compared with six in 2012 year.
Currently the nearest slots for delivery G650 accessible via 45 months, the G450/G550-12-15 months and G280-9-12 months. According to the Chairman and ceo of General Dynamics (the parent company of Gulfstream Aerospace) Phoebe novakovic, this year it is planned to substantially reducing the waiting time for new G650.
"When you make such a complex platform like G650, you should remember about the pressure that it exerts on the chain of suppliers," said Ms. Novakovic. "Our supply system is robust, and we, where possible, particular attention is paid to supply components for the G650.
In the year 2014 Gulfstream plans to deliver 118 large planes and 40 medium-sized.
