Bill Voss (Attorney)
Attorney and Active Community Member in The Woodlands, Texas
Bill Voss is a Texas attorney, ninth-generation Texan, and a direct descendant of Davy Crockett, who has traced his lineage back to the first 12 families granted permission by Mexico to farm Texas. At a young age, his father, an operator for OTIS Engineering, was transferred to Saudi Arabia. Growing up in this international context, Bill Voss gained a keen appreciation of differing cultures and perspectives, which he notes as an invaluable skill for an attorney. He returned to Texas to attend Lamar University, where he earned a bachelor of science in criminal justice, before earning his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.
Attorney Bill Voss has owned and served as an attorney at The Voss Law Firm, P.C. since completing his law degree. Through his law firm, he has built a reputation as a leading Houston lawyer representing business and individuals in the areas of apartment, residential, commercial, and business insurance claims, as well as complex insurance litigation and first-party insurance claims.
In one case, he secured more than $10 million dollars from a bad acting insurance company for over 100 Texas policyholders. The initial settlement offering was less than $300,000. As a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, he has earned numerous awards and plaudits for his legal work.
Attorney Bill Voss remains active in his community, both through personal contributions to charitable causes and through his firm. Mr. Voss recently represented his law firm as a competitor in the Pete Rose Inaugural Golf Gala, which raised funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
