Billy Beyer, keyboardist, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and writer began his professional career as a drummer. In his professional career, Bill has played guitar, bass and trombone before transitioning to keyboards at age eighteen. In his early twenties Bill lead his own band and toured regionally in the Midwest and nationally for a number of years. After landing in California to further his education, Bill played an extended gig in La Jolla, playing for an eclectic audience nightly - from Andre Previn to Pete Townsend.
Over the years, Bill has become skillful at playing many diverse styles of music, from Rock to Jazz, Country to Funk, Latin to Pop and Blues to Standards. As a professional player, Bill has played for heavyweights such as George Benson, Liza Minnelli, Hank Williams Jr., and more. Bill currently plays with top Country band, Dawson’s Gang, the "Johnny & June Show", a national touring tribute to Johnny and June Cash and, occasionally plays private events.
